Conflict Management: A tool for clinician leaders

Reform and quality initiatives increasingly push health care professionals to work with a wide variety of stakeholders. Clinicians need to interact with internal colleagues, external partners, and patients, and conflict management is essential to both high quality work and strong relationships. This three-hour session will use the Thomas-Kilmann Inventory to help participants understand their own and others’ conflict handling modes in order to improve their interactions with others.

Conflict Management and the Myers-Briggs: Workshop plus individual coaching

Reform and quality initiatives increasingly push health care professionals to work with a wide variety of stakeholders. Clinicians need to interact with internal colleagues, external partners, and patients, and conflict management is essential to both high quality work and strong relationships. This course will use the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator to help participants understand their own and others’ conflict handling modes in order to improve their interactions.
