Linda Norlander RN MS is the manager for the Group Health Cooperative's home care and hospice program in Tacoma, Washington. She leads a staff of 50 professionals providing care for patients in their homes. She is the author of three books, To Comfort Always: A Nurse's Guide to End of Life Care, Being Present: A Nurse's Resource for End of Life Communications (co-authored with Marjorie Schaffer) and Choices at the End of Life: Finding Out What Your Parents Want Before It’s Too Late, (co-authored with Kerstin McSteen). She has also published journal articles on advance care planning, management of patient suffering, and interdisciplinary teamwork. She is a 2001 Robert Wood Johnson Executive Nurse Fellow.
