Professional Bio:

 Carlos joined the Tiburcio Vasquez Health center, Inc in 2000 and is currently the Community Health Education Director. Previously at the Clinic he was the chronic diseases health educator and department coordinator. He contributes to planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating community based health promotion and education programs for cancer awareness and support, diabetes Mellitus, cardiovascular diseases, health promoters, tobacco, HIV/AIDS and immunization for kids.  

Prior to joining the TVHC Clinic, Carlos held positions in Cali, Colombia as geriatric primary care physician, professor of gerontology, and public health.   He is a foreign graduated physician from Universidad del Rosario in Bogota, Colombia.
