I am employed at UCSF Medical Center and UCSF Children's Hospital in the Department of Nursing Education. I have been a nurse for about 30 years and have worked in various units such as med-surg, adult critical care and neonatal intensive care. This is a very busy time for me right now because I am currently in the process changing jobs. I will be the Coordinator for Nursing Performance Improvement as of June 5. I am also completing my Master's studies in Nursing Health Policy and will graduate June 3....right after our 2-day program ends! On a personal note, I have been married for almost as long as I have been a nurse. I have two children and a chocolate lab. My son is living and working in Lodi and my daughter will be moving to New York in 2 weeks. My husband, myself, and our chocolate lab live happily in a home in San Francisco, only 10 minutes away from UCSF.
